Distinctive French Jewelry Set - Earrings and Necklace

A French jewelry set from the mid to latter 19th century - fully hallmarked, 18 karat and incredibly well designed and constructed. The circles and overlapping rings move independently, and are precision crafted to reflect some of the spirit and design quality of the industrial revolution in a post revolutionary style.
The earrings, far removed from the industrial factory floor, are reminiscent of new mechanical inventions and the ways various and sundry “parts“ were built and used in early machines. Handmade and extremely well constructed. Price group D.
